Simulation

Use of the most modern state-of-the-art simulation tools enables us to offer your projects with certainty of success.

Using MOLDFLOW Insight in full licence, we determine possible component distortions, sink marks, vacuoles, weld lines and other possible defect patterns already in the development phase and reliably exclude them.

In addition, ANSYS AIM / ANSYS LIVE tools are available to us with which we carry out topologies, structural analyses, fluid analyses and thermal analyses if required.

Mould making

Due to the mould making and hot runner system manufacturer integrated in the group of companies, we are able to manufacture injection moulds in the high-end segment completely in-house at the same location.
 


Tool procurement

Of course, these competences are also used for external mould procurement and maintenance. Moulds that we procure for you worldwide must meet our high standards for mould acceptance. For this purpose we are on site for you at the mould supplier with our own employees.

Assembly

Assemblies are carried out in three shifts by our qualified permanent staff of the plastics technology department. A traceable 100% function test with corresponding documentation according to DIN ISO 9001:2015 is a matter of course for complex assemblies.


Quality assurance

During production, our products are subjected to all required tests, from dimensional and gauge tests to mechanical load tests. In addition, camera measurements of articles, such as those required for safety-relevant components, are possible for 100% inspection after the injection moulding process. All tests are documented in accordance with our certification to DIN ISO 9001:2015 as a matter of course.

Thinking and acting ecologically - without compromise. Environmental management is an essential and integral part of all processes. We think in cycles for a climate-neutral overall balance.


Sustainability

Cycle management is the central approach to making plastics environmentally friendly and sustainable for many generations. We deliberately rely on post consumer plastics in order to operate a permanent cycle in which new products can be created again and again without further use of natural resources. The lighthouse project for this is the chair components we produce from the dual system, which in turn are used in the new company headquarters of the “Grüner Punkt”.

CO2-footprint

One team, one goal - CO2 neutrality. We have clearly set ourselves the goal of acting completely CO2-neutral for you. We would like to make this path transparent for you. The main CO2 footprint in the area of plastic injection moulding is caused by electricity consumption. We have decided to generate and consume our own electricity locally.

 


Regenerative energy

We currently have photovoltaic systems in operation that generate 700,000 kilowatt hours of electricity per year (equivalent to approx. 210 households) and thus already cover a large part of our electricity requirements. The expansion from currently 0.7 megawatt to over 1 megawatt will take place by 2025. We provide this electricity free of charge to customers and employees at currently 10 charging points for their e-vehicles, so that they can travel to us in a climate-neutral way.

Environment

We are aware of our responsibility towards the environment and consider this to be an obligation. With an environmental management system that is strongly based on DIN EN ISO 14001, we implement measures in the interest of the environment.

We currently return 32 different types of recyclable waste to their product cycles, from A like aluminium to Z like zinc.

All heating of our business premises is done by heat recovery from our production facilities. The Europe-wide use of pendulum packaging is possible and desirable at any time in coordination with you.
